You and Your Garden!

No doubt quite a few of you already know this, but one of the most relaxing past times I know of has nothing to do with watching football or boxing on television! Guys, if you really want to do yourself and your surroundings a world of good, do a little bit of gardening. Men and gardening go together like fingers in a glove and that’s why you should be — like I try to be – outfitted as efficiently as possible in order to get the most out of your gardening pursuits!

Now I realize that some of you out there are snickering right now. I mean really – the thought of men and gardening? Shouldn’t we be doing something a bit more physical like chopping wood? Trust me on this one, guys. Not only is gardening therapeutic (experts say putting your hands and fingers in dirt is actually very healthy) but as the country continues to “go green” you’ll relish the fact that you’re actually helping the environment while beautifying your surroundings.

The Best Thing to Ever Hit Your Garden!

With that in mind there is one item that never leaves my sight when I head into my back yard: my pruning sheers. Fortunately for you – you can find a good pair online!

My personal preference is Rugg’s ¾ inch “by-pass” pruning sheers with the cushioned grip and non-stick coated blade. Simple, comfortable and highly efficient, this is only one of several Rugg’s pruning models, but one that has more than earned back its inexpensive investment a dozen of times over.
